I get to reap what others planted. I was informed yesterday that there is a mango tree, a lemon tree, and avocado tree around my house. The lemon tree is producing a couple of lemons so far, but the mango and avocados won't be ready for a little while. My gardener informed me this week that the bananas were ready, so he chopped down the stalk of green bananas and we hung it to ripen outside my house. The animalitos have already eaten most of the ones that are ripening, so I took down any this morning that were even remotely yellow and brought them inside to finish ripening.
